Admission booths open at 8 a.m.
Parade starts at 9:30 a.m.
The King William Association is a non-profit with membership open to all. The Fair is the association's primary fundraiser, which allows us to preserve and protect the oldest historic district in the state of Texas and to promote the unique cultural heritage of San Antonio.
Approximately 50,000 visitors attend the King William Fair on the final Saturday of Fiesta each year to enjoy a fun-filled, family festival consisting of art and craft vendors, live music and dance performances, food and beverage booths, Kids Kingdom play area and a quirky parade. Set in the historic King William District in San Antonio, what really sets this event apart is the sparkling beauty of this historic neighborhood with its stately homes and gracious gardens.
The day starts with the best little parade in Texas! This fun and funky cavalcade offers local organizations, individuals and businesses the opportunity to showcase their festive side. With political parodies and parading pooches, kings and kids, bands marching and bellies dancing, each part of this mile and a half meander through the neighborhood is a royal treat.
The Fair offers a wide selection of art & craft vendors selling their own original, handcrafted items with approximately 200 vendors selling everything from stained glass to wind chimes, paintings to photography, ceramics to apparel, home-made foods to home accessories and more! There is definitely something for everyone at this eclectic mix of artists and artisans.
The Fair offers a delicious variety of food and beverages. Feast on your favorite foods and try some new ones! The streets are filled with the aroma of sizzling fajitas, families amble the streets enjoying raspas (snow cones) and palettas (popsicles) and Kettle Korn is popping all around.
The King William Fair offers a variety of entertainment all day long. Spend the afternoon listening to local and imported bands at four distinct venues. Spread a blanket next to the historic gazebo in King William Park as you enjoy soulful sounds and happy harmonies, listen to lyrical singer-songwriter melodies at Pat’s Pub; andsit in the shade awhile at Julia’s Veranda, watch in wonder at a variety of ethnic dancers.
