WELCOME ENTERTAINERS!

Thank you for your interest in adding your unique talent to the King William Fair!

FEES:

Unlike other areas of the Fair, there is no processing fee to apply to become one of our entertainers. Please note that while we may be able to pay a small stipend for performing, depending on act and size of group, the Fair’s budget is limited. This event is dedicated to raising funds for arts, education, and community improvements. This opportunity is about having fun and exposure to a crowd of approximately 50,000 visitors.

ENTRY CRITERIA:

We prefer to spotlight local/regional talent and are open to a wide variety of performance styles and formats suitable for general audiences.  We emphasize family entertainment, and have one stage (Kid’s Kingdom in the Upper Mill Park) focused on child-oriented acts. Please note that we have a limited number of stages, performance times and areas available, and always have more applicants than we can accept.  Therefore, completing this application DOES NOT guarantee your performance.
When submitting your application form, please include a sample recording (CD or DVD) along with a list of recent performances. Please note we cannot return your samples and support material. We welcome electronic submissions, which can be e-mailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  However, we still require you to submit a paper copy of the application form.
If selected, we will send you a contract with your designated performance location and time, as well as a Waiver of Responsibility for each member of your group. If you need to unload equipment, we will also send you a loading/unloading pass. Parking is limited, however, and these unloading passes may NOT be used for all-day parking. They are only for a two hour time period.

FAIR ADMISSIONS:

The King William Fair charges $5 admission; children 12 and under are free. Proceeds benefit the arts, education, and community improvements.
If you are selected, an admission wristband for each member of your group will be sent to you with your contract. Additional admission wristbands will be available to purchase for $5 each in advance of the Fair at the Fiesta Store, 2611 Broadway, and on Fair Day at any of the admission gates.   Everyone entering the Fair Zone must be wearing a valid wristband.
