Calling All Entertainers & Artists!
Parade Theme
The Great Fiesta Bake Off Sugar & Spice, plus everything nice—that's what Fiesta is made of.
Get ready to turn up the heat and whisk up some fun—this year’s parade theme is a delicious celebration of creativity, community, and culture: The Great Fiesta Bake Off!
Inspired by the warmth of family kitchens and the joy of sharing food, this year’s parade invites participants to showcase the flavors of Fiesta through dazzling floats, costumes, and performances that celebrate all things sweet, savory, and spectacular. From towering pastel cakes and colorful conchas to cotton candy skies and treasured family desserts, the parade will be a visual feast of local flavor and creative expression.
Participants are encouraged to bring their best “bakes” to life through imaginative designs—think larger-than-life cupcakes rolling down the street, dancing churros, or mariachi marzipan bands. Whether you're celebrating a classic San Antonio treat or adding your own twist, let your creativity rise like dough and sprinkle your float with a little extra sweetness.
Just like any great bake off, this event is about more than ingredients—it’s about heart, heritage, and sharing what makes your community special. Whether inspired by abuela’s secret recipe or the joy of Fiesta itself, this year’s parade is your chance to serve up something unforgettable.

WRANGLE ON, SUE!
Wrangle On, Sue! The King William Fair honors Sue Duffy, who was Chief Parade Wrangler from 2007 until her death in 2017. Although Sue did not live in the neighborhood, she devoted countless hours to curating and cultivating the parade into a city-wide favorite. Sue was also a former Fair performer (Irish dance), and loved spending time in the ‘hood
