The King William Fair held its inaugural Best Bite Food Competition on March 19, 2023 with several Fair food vendors and special guest judges! The competition showcased Fair food vendors’ culinary creativity as they presented new and affordable savory or sweet Fiesta food items that could be eaten in one bite and sold at the Fair for less than $5.
The Savory Award went to Kona Ice Alamo City for the Konadilly: chilled sliced pickles soaked in Tigers Blood (Kona Ice flavor) with a drizzle of Chamoy, sprinkle of Tajin and Tamarindo pieces.
The Sweet Award went to BBQ Cuz Its Right for the Funnel Cake Bombs, two funnel cakes - one with caramel drizzle and toffee and another with Margarita drizzle and lemon zest.
